No, we make it and put in jars and freeze it.

5 cups basil leaves
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 cup pine nuts
10 cloves of garlic
1 cup grated parmesan
1/2 cups olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Food processor - start with nuts and garlic, rough chop. Then add basil and puree it down. Slowly drizzle in olive oil, then add salt and pepper and finally cheese.

Air will brown it, so we put it in small jars and put 1/4 inch of olive oil on top and freeze it. We are eating our 2019 stock right now. The basil in the garden is looking puny this year. Hopefully we can get a few jars.

Awesome. We are a pesto household too. Ever make pesto pizza instead of tomato sauce? Game changer....

My wife and I are fishing in NW Montana so eating out. She had a very good prime rib last night. Me, a very good Salisbury steak and gravy.

I grilled up some pork loin yesterday and made the girls sandwiches.

Pork, pickles, and horseradish on cuban bread.

For the past two weeks every day I ask my wife and daughter this question. What else do you want with the squash for supper? It keeps coming and coming and coming.

Grilled Venison burgers, oven roasted potatoes from the garden, caprese salad (tomatoes and basil from the garden) and blueberry pie (blueberries from the garden) for desert. We love it when we can eat a full meal and the majority of the food comes from our harvest.

Last day of fly fishing, she had ribs and I crab cakes and the best French onion soup I have ever had. Here in Libby Montana... Heading back to Idaho in the morning.
