Content producers can remove comments at will, and YouTube will remove comments if another commenter flags the comment. YouTube has also been guilty in the past of just hiding the comments of certain flagged persons. They did this to me for a few months. It didn't matter what I posted or where, I got zero participation with my comments. I found out I had been targeted by a certain group who didn't like my "racist" comments, and they had flagged every comment I made everywhere, and then convinced someone at YouTube to "shadow-ban" me. It wasn't until I complained to YouTube that it changed.
YouTube is run by Jews now. Yes, that matters. A long time ago, it was a free and open platform. That came to an absolute end during 2016, and they have only cracked down more in the years since.

Unlike many American owned sites you don't get banned on a whim of individual doing monitoring at a given time. Naturally one can get censored by automated system once certain words or combination of certain words appear in a post.
