Ed, your cartridge making and gun projects are great. You're Trump bashing blogs, not so much.

I know this is old.. But I'm wanting to load 2.5" all brass shells with slugs for a single shot, fairly low pressure, but loading dies are only good for loading with shot and not sized to hold a slug like these... or will they ? If not I will be in need of one. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks..

For a single shot slug or ball gun, I would try and skip any case resize or crimping. The projectile could be held in place with hot wax. I even heard of hot glue, but do not know about that. The case would be filled with powder and wads or some filler.
This is a little off topic for this thread. You might look for some black powder cartridge relaoding & shooting forum. That is even though you are apparently not planning to load black powder.

Bret Ittel-- The secret is the wad column the faster and harder its pushed the better the seal and faster speed it creates with
lower internal case pressure to a point - i ran it up to 75 grns of steel powder melting cases getting crazy speeds of 3400-3600 fps but at this high the top of the plastic shotgun cases will melt and stick in the chamber but this is a after market pac nor
barreled savage 12 ga from hell with 3 locking lugs! - 12ga sabot, 500gr bullet-- --THIS FROM FB, GUYS STILL HAVING 12ga FH FUN
SC-ALL- If the brass cases you have are the thin Magtech they won't size down right to hold 12ga slugs,.
They are for shot with oversiize wads so that when loaded the outside of the cases fit chambers, Best to use longer plastic
as they are thick, fit chambers , and can be loaded with powders we use to any power level you want.
Or the expensive thick brass cases that fits and you can really go wild,,, ED

Now if you have the RMC turned, thick brass, they make a die that sizes
by tapping the case in and tapping it out with a rod, You can shrink top
part of the case with the bottom quarter of a BMG die, That gets a tight
fit fit slug or sabot, and don't crimp thick brass as that will ruin it...Ed

Oh, in all loads whether brass or plastic, never leave airspace, always fill up space
with cards, seals and/or wads, Ed
