Ha! I know what that bear was smelling.....it was her 'time of the month'.

He was smelling her hair.

She most likely used a rinse that had some fragrant ingredient.

I was about 5’ from the biggest bear I’d ever seen. In Hayward,WI. It was easily 500 pounds. If I felt it was a threat I would have schit myself. He just looked at me and let me know I’d be dead if he wanted me to be.

As cool as that looks, if it was me that bear would be DRT. Only a matter of time before it puts the munch on someone.

Beat me to it........ I was gonna suggest that the bear was doing his best Biden imitation. Must be in some kind of park where the bears are obviously well accustomed to human presence.

Bear has lived consequence free alongside humans for too long.

It looked to have tag on one ear, in PA they mark trapped and relocated problem bears that way.

That bear is problem and needs to be killed.

I would have shot that bear until I was out of ammo or it was dead. I'm not letting ANY bear get that close to me.

My grandma swatted one with a broom to shoo it off her porch one morning.

A bear would never get that close to me and not be bleeding out.

When I was 14, I went out to Philmont with the scouts. At the Mt. Baldy base camp, (one of the staffed camps along the route), my group stopped and stacked our packs. I went off to drop a load, and when I came back, my group was gone up the hill to meet the staff. There was, however, a young bear helping himself to the food in my buddies pack. I yelled out, and the next thing I see is a staff member flying down the hill with a wiffle ball batt in hand. He proceeds to woops the bears a$$ with it, as the bear ran off. Funny as s$i#, and forever burned in my memory.
