WTS: Genuine King Ranch leather rifle scabbard. This is a used, but not abused fine leather rifle scabbard with sheep’s wool type lining inside. The king ranch saddle shop is renowned throughout the world for making some of the finest working leather goods. These scabbards are no longer offered by the company. I don’t ride horses or hunt from a horse so I’m selling this. $295.00 shipped

I'm tempted to buy it just to hang on my Polaris Ranger! I still own a horse but the Ranger gets a lot more use these days. What a beautiful piece of leather. donsm70

What is the “SWO” stamped on the leather? Please do not say that is someone’s initials!!!! I think they put that on all of them as a reminder. You know, Shoot When Out so someone doesn’t put any extra holes in it.

I would like to see the stamp that's near the end? I would like to see the stamp that's near the end? Are you wanting to see the King Ranch stamp? I can take a picture and post it once I get home from work.

Just a couple comments that may help you sell this—we hunt quail on our lease as often out of pickups vs Rangers. Dogs ride in the bed and we’ll hunt a piece then load up and drive on a bit til the next section. It’s handy to have a scabbard like this to slip your shotgun into as opposed to laying across the rear seat or straddling it in the cab. Buy this and get a saddle/tack shop to stitch or rivet a couple loops and hang this over each front headrest so it hangs horizontally behind your seat. Just open the rear door on your truck crew cab and slide it in and out. I’ve got something not nearly as nice and it works great.
