A lame bull, he takes great umbrage with us tiring to get him in to treat.
Jake, mostly, but a least two hours both of us, and he is still in the pasture.
When it's cooler in the morning we might have to bring the whole herd over just to get the bull in.

This post made me feel much better about my day today. I spent four hours treating two cows. One has pinkeye and the other had stepped on a T-post clip which was embedded in her hoof. Had a hard time getting them caught, moved to the house, loaded in the squeeze chute and treated. Have to treat the eye again tomorrow. Guy helping me got thrown from his horse.

Been there done that. And I’d much rather do it on a 4 wheeler than horseback. 🤠
We had an old black Angus bull like that whom was the County Champion 5 strand barbed wire fence jumper. Dad kept me from putting a bullet in him on more than one occasion. 🤠

He's bigger than he looks in that picture. Sore foot of not, he got up high enough to mash a gate down to get back in the pasture. A $6000 bull, he acts like like bum steer.
