Has anyone tried any of the powders being sold by AmericanReloading.com under the Midwest Powders name? The information on them is limited, but while conducting an online search I found a discussion on another forum about Midwest Powders and someone there had emailed American Reloading and the reply that they received said that "Midwest Powders is simply a distributor that gets overrun powder from large manufactures of ammunition".
That's what it looks like. Most of what they listed appears to be surplus military powders. I've shot plenty of surplus military powder, much of it shipped in milk jugs. Lot-to-lot variations can be a little more then with commercial powders, so do a quick work up to check pressures with new lots, but other then that, load and rock on.
