Every healthy lawn has some weeds. No big deal.
If it doesn't, it's poisoned. Your's looks great as organic and better than the sprayed ones in my neighborhood.

I warned a family member about using glyphosate/round up. Next thing I know is that our / her dog got stomach cancer from it.

It depends on whether its more important to you to finish the lawn quicker, or to have a more even cut.

I've got a Murray from wally world about 20 years ago. Used it on about 15 acres. Its paid for itself. Hardly any issues with lots of milage and hours at full throttle. Low center of gravity. 18 horses B&S, hydrostatic tranny.
There is better for sure. I thought the john dear was too much for what you get. Personal opinion. Anyone who owns it may tell you different.
Wish I could get a real tractor/ brush hog right now. It would save much time.

If you’re serious about zero turns Exmark, scag or hustler. I’m a believer in light commercial to full commercial grade mowers even for personal use if you like things to last. These come with Welded decks, heavy duty hydro motors, HD spindles, better engine and air cleaners. 2000+ hours is to be expected with proper maintenance. Many more hours than that possible.

Or you can buy a homeowner grade POS every 5 years
