He was one hell of a fighter to fight cancer for 4 years most people only last a couple of months

I dread the day one of my parents moves on, as I'll miss them, much in the way they currently miss their own parents. Sorry to hear of this.

My dad died 33 years ago and to this day I'll still occasionally wake up in tears, and missing him after a dream about dad. On the other side, there's a LOT great dad memories and stories that bring a smile to my face. I wish you the same.

My dad passed away this morning. He fought cancer for four years. Very sorry to hear this news. Prayers on the way.

Sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering.
I lost dad 7 years ago, mom 2 years ago. Both had trials and struggles during the last years and I have few regrets about how I spent the last years with them. The worst part is thinking of something I'd like to ask them and knowing I can no longer do so.
