Sorry for your loss....lost Mom to cancer in 1994 and Dad in 2002. Miss them everyday.

My condolences. I lost mine in 2013 to lung cancer. It's rough. Mine was my primary hunting partner and I still miss him when I go to the woods.

You and your Dad are very close without a doubt.
I hope that you will meet him again in heaven someday.
There's probably lots that you will want to do together.
I want to catch up with mine someday. There's a list of things that I want us to do together. One of many is go fishing.
If you want assurance of that, please PM me.
God gives promises in the Bible about that topic.
That's the best thing that I knew when my Dad died.

I’m sorry bud,
Lost my mom to cancer 3 weeks ago. Be thankful You had 4 years, my mom got diagnosed and it was less than 6 weeks.
Still brutal. Sorry for your loss
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

My sincerest condolences to you! My dad passed last week, 2 1/2 years of dealing with severe dementia. Dad started me in big game hunting over 50 years ago elk hunting in the mountains NW of Steamboat Springs, CO.

Dad started me in big game hunting over 50 years ago elk hunting in the mountains NW of Steamboat Springs, CO. I've bowhunted that area for 30+ years. Zones 4,5, 441. Gods country. Sorry about your dad, it's tough.
