The grace that He extended to us, He wants us to extend that same grace to every single person in our lives, for the rest of our lives.
It’s not just the Golden Rule, it’s the Platinum Rule. "A new command I give you: Love one another. *As I have loved you*, so you must love one another.” - Jesus
That applies to pre-Pentecost unregenerated believers and unbelievers alike. Grace brought forgiveness for all sins to believers, who now aren't slaves to the power of sin. God does NOT hold us (believers) unforgiven if we do not perfectly forgive others. Eventually, as we let Jesus live the Christian life for and in us, we forgive in concert with our new nature. The old man dies when we appropriate Jesus sacrifice on the cross. It can take a long time to forgive some things, but love for Jesus overcomes it eventually.
Matthew 6: 14-15 makes it very clear from the mouth of Jesus that if you do not forgive others their trespasses then your heavenly Father will not forgive you. All this talk about grace and faith aside you have to do it, or else you are on the outs. Jesus said it, not me.
Patriotism (and religion) is the last refuge of a scoundrel. Jesus: "Take heed that no man deceive you." Hebrew Roots Judaizer
Well, I fall short. So, if one is saved by believing on HIM and yet cant be forgiven due to not being able to forgive?
Jesus did not equivocate on this. You have to do it. Jesus did not do away with the law (or the prophets). He said not one bit of the law would pass away until heaven and earth pass away. Sorry. It doesn't matter what Jimmy Swaggart says or the SBC, or Paul says. Jesus is the captain of the ship. He rules.

So, HE doesnt really forgive ALL sins. More than one is unforgiveable?
Do you continue to fall short?
What if you fall short on just one sin?
Is it more forgiveable to fall short on just one a lot, or several just a little?

I'm with you my friend, but don't count on our Supreme Court to protect your 1st amendment rights (or your 2nd) now that Justice Roberts has gone daffy. Imagine him, in his 5-4 ruling, allowing casinos to remain open in Nevada while churches must close. They gave the governors the right to choose, meaning, if you've got a red governor you can probably still go to church while your blue governors (e.g, Kentucky, CA) are doing everything possible to keep them closed. Makes no sense, as one federal judge put it, when you keep Home Depot open ,where there is little social distancing and more people, and then close churches. We're headed for some very difficult times. . . abomination of desolation.

Jesus didn't say that and neither did I. You can be forgiven and you know that, you are an intelligent man. Please read Matthew over and over.
