Pill form or In-Fusion clinic?
I had to go the infusion center for weekly magnesium pushes. Bring a book or magazine to take your mind off of the immediate atmosphere. Or smart phone, tablet so you can cruise the internet or the campfire. They usually have wifi in there.
Of youre able, take a thermos or nalgene bottle of ice water with ice cubes in it. Or ask them for a cup of ice. Most places have that fluffy pellet ice maker ice, munching ice and taking a Zofran (ondansetron) tablet helped with my nausea being in there and the iv deliveries.

Been there done that.
Meds given with the chemo will help a lot. Eat even if you don't feel like it just find something that you can eat and like, you'll need the calories. Boost and Ensure are good options. Keep hydrated. Move your body thru the day so you don't get bloodclots. Your sleep schedule may get whacked.
