No idea about these bullets but if you shoot a 375 something they’re cheap enough

Bought a bunch at that price couple months ago. They group reasonably well, not quite as good as the 235 HC and 270 gr BTSP in my Guide gun. The older version had a steel cup at base to reinforce the shank. These do not, but imagine they'll kill anything in NA just fine.

Dang, if I didn't have a lifetime supply of 300gr NPT's from SPS, these are cheaper than 270gr Hornadys, and i'll bet a bit tougher.

Never shot anything with the Grand Salami's. Supposed they'd work. Had some .30 cal / 200 grainers back in the day. Not a very aerodynamic bullet, but I guess they're not prone to smashing their exposed lead tips.

True, they don't. The 270 gr BTSPs, OTOH.......... The closer to box mag length you can get the less they can move during recoil. Think impact loading.

Lol, I’ve checked the expiration date on all my bullets and they’re still good.

10 boxes on the way, Amy said they were about 5 days behind on shipping, it's all good, and glad to have them.

Just got a .375 H&H. Shoots the Hornady 270gr SPs real nice but...I just ordered 20 boxes of these. Should be close to a lifetime supply. Hope they shoot as good! The campfire is not kind to my credit card!!

LOL, I got out for two bills, cost you foe! cool have two very accurate 375's here, I have no doubt those 285 SGS's will shoot good, loafing along at an easy 2700 fps will lay the smack down on anything short of Elephant head shots imho, You being in PA, I can already read the story of you going up and smacking a big Newfoundland moose with those bullets ; ]

What powder are you using in your. 375? With the 270gr Hornady SPs I found that 75 grains of IMR 4350 shoots real well. I've not chronographed that load but I don't imagine its real fast. Its doesn't boot real hard on my end either. I don't have data for the speer 285s, but would venture the same powder charge wouldn't be to hot even though its heavier.

Mountain Buck, I run in my pre-64 375 H&H Mag:

81gr RL-17 under a 300gr BBW #13 solid for 2700 fps
80gr RL-17 under a 300gr Partition for 2680 fps

Was thinking an easy 78gr RL-17 under the 285 SGS's for a good utility load around 2700 fps.
