You choose the chemical stress test as opposed to the treadmill stress test?

My cardiologist asked if I could do the treadmill, and I told him yes... He was surprised with the ease with which I passed it.

There was another guy there doing the chemical stresser. He didn't look too good. I'm surprised he even lived through it. I think he was too.

Cannin' Nana's beans don't take much exercizin', do it. Maybe you need to go set some fence posts?

I 'm in the process of trying to get one scheduled. Probably take a 2.5 hr drive up there for a "consultation", which they'll charge Medicare and our insurance big bucks for, then home, then a return trip the next week or month for the actual test, another charge and more time and fuel spent by me.

Oh well, there's a restaurant and food trucks with foods we don't have here, and I can spend more money on primers and powder if there's any left.

Oh, I think the issue is something else, but the PA wants to check this first. I have a sneaky suspicion it's just goin to be a month or more delay in figuring out what it really is.

I forgot that I was supposed to wear walking shoes at a stress test, and I showed up in my cowboy boots. They were shocked at how well I did, and I impressed a nurse so much that she has flirted big time with me ever since. However, I won’t wear cowboy boots again. Good luck slummy.

Got mine in the morning. Chemical as my knee still isn't fully recovered from the retread in January and fall the beginning of March. Echo next Friday. Wasn't feeling all that sterling about a month ago. Went to the cardio doc. Ended up with a heart monitor on my chest for three days. Then to see the Electrocardiologist......... 28% of my heartbeats are PVC's. Had a heart attack eighteen years ago. Who knows what I'll end up with.

DUDE! spend the money on good food and exercise instead of your Dr.s next BMW.
The chicks will dig you for it.

The 2 ive had a mayo, they really juiced me

Frigging room was spinning. Haha

Mayo last year was a combo, matress, the chemical and then some slow walking on treadmill and some more chemical

Strange

Today must have been a low budget. I hardly caught a buzz off of the chems.

Was kinda bummed

They had some suburb coffee, and im not of coffee officionado. Oh well, only the best, guess I paid for that too.

What's this chemical stress test? Is it "as good" as the treadmill? Last one of those I had was before a rotator cuff surgery. Last couple of surgeries have just been EKGs, not treadmill.

Can I catch a free buzz from the Chemical ones?

They use a drug to get your heart rate up to speed. Really freaks some people out.

The chemical makes your heart feel like youve just crested that first highest peak on your favorite roller coaster.

Does me.

Kind of a oh shît moment for 20 seconds

It chemically does enough I suppose to mimic the same thing manual exertion would do

First chemical stress I ever had was a dandy. Heat wave started at my head then went all the way to my toes. Could not catch my breath. Had a bunch since and they have not bothered me at all. Hasbeen
