A friend has a youth model 870 with a 20 inch barrel. Will a regular 870 barrel fit the youth model receiver?He wants to put a 24 or 26 inch barrel in it .

There were SOME 870 express models that had a funky barrel fit. The mag ring was set back further (like the 870 Special Fields). Measure the current barrel from receiver to mag ring to make sure.
