Anyone played with either of these? Both seem to be pretty temp stable and appears to be easier to find than H1000 while also giving a bit more speed. With h1000 so hard to get a hold of, I am needing to find a backup option and thinking this could be it... Would be shooting 150-162 class bullets.

Idk.... never used either in the 7 mag but did in my 25/06. Neither shot groups good enough for my satisfaction. I’ve used more RL22, H4831 and Imr 7827 than anything else in the 7 mag. I’d probably try H4831 IF you can find any. Good luck and hopefully your 7mag will agree with one or both.

Getting the best accuracy I've ever seen from mine with 7977 and a 140 Partition.

Was planning to try 8133 but no need now.

Don't see much point in using bullets under 160 grains in a 7mm magnum, and have gotten my best results with 160s in the 7mm RM with 8133.

While I totally agree with heavy bullets in the 7 rem mag - 150 scenars at 3100 plus are very formidable for anything Idaho offers to hunt.

I have been a 160 or nothing guy when it comes to the 7mag for decades. It flat works!! Grand Slams and Partitions or plain Speers have all been awesome!

Last year a friend sent me some Federal Trophy tipped bullets? 140g nickel and orange tips. I loaded them ontop of 3100 powder. They are traveling north of 3200 fps and shooting near 1/2 MOA!! Im gonna try them This year If I sit the "power lines" stand.

RE 22 has been a go to powder for me to hit 3K with 160g bullets.
