I sold ALL of my grandfather’s WW II artifacts & my father’s extensive goods from the Korean War.

Why? Because both of them were extremely mean, physically & verbally abusive toward me. I want nothing reminding me of them.

Exactly... please give a ballpark.

Should my bid be 10% over $250... or 200% over?

I suspect you are right... but I am bowing out... never been a big chaser. Good Luck WP

Let’s maybe do a favor to a member and try to establish value first. I collect memorabilia from that era and have no idea on value.

Thoughts?

Your the guy who might know where to find that info. Message the seller and share your idea.

This is what I thought. Do you have any family that might be interested in purchasing it off of you?

He does say he has no one to pass it on to. Besides, I think the most important thing that came back from WWII ain't a thing.

I sent a PM right after he posted this asking the same thing. It hasn't been read even after he has posted more on here so I am out. I know nothing about them but thought it was a neat piece of history.

Same, was looking at the value of some of the knives sitting in my safe and figured I would mind having it for around the same price as my others but I've received no reply to my publicly stated cash offers. Maybe I need to offer 1000.00, then back out of the deal, at least then I can narrow down the price range to 300-1k

From looking at a number of sites it seems the manufacturer matters a lot, as does condition. This manufacturer is uncommon and early. The prices at some sites are high. Is this dagger collector quality? Looks like it is to me. But price and selling price can be quite a bit different. I have seen prices in the $1200 range. I think that's too high, but I'm not selling.
