I bought a couple of the Classic Vs, but for what they cost and with their reputation, I wasn't greatly concerned about the warranty. For the price you quote, there are other options with proper warranties, if that's a concern.
What fresh Hell is this?

Hmmm,
Have a rim fire and a Classic 2x7 in the boxes that haven't been mounted yet. An AR sitting here with a 2x7 that needs zeroed..
Hope they work.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

Have had a Weaver V10 for years, tough as a railroad spike. Be careful, the classic V10 and V7 were Japanese made and IMO superior to Bushnells and Simmons and the like, (the Co. that owns them and now Weaver). But some of the other Weavers were made in China and inferior to the classics. I have owned Leupolds and Redfields and, I hate to say this, but I find the clarity of the Japanese glass superior to the former. The V10 has a little bit of tunnel effect, but for the exceptional clarity and a superior reticle that was tailor-made for hunting, I'll put up with a little tunneling. It's hasn't stopped me from killing deer.
