Ah yes, shot about 23 of those my first year in this house, and 13 the next, all ripping windows off the hen house, pulling off screens on our house, eating cat food. Finally took some plastic plumbing pipe I'd fashioned to hang a piece of meat tied to some Christmas bells. Put outside my window, under a dim bulb (not me), and shot one everytime the bells rang. Getting a dog solved the problem.

He was making an exit from the chicken pen after I had a q beam on him, shot 35 yards away facing me. He went about 10 yards before expiring. 36 grain Rem. hollow point, gold bullet.
Hope that makes this hunting story more excitable!! smile

Congrats on a nice varmint elimination...

One thing though when posing the rifle with the varmint, make sure the blued portion of the rifle doesn't touch the critters blood, because it will remove the blueing... And you won't like that...!

I am stuck in a townhouse very far from anywhere I can regularly shoot, so I am living vicariously through your actions... darn I miss our old place.

Do you like your brother-in-law? If not, tell her he said to get rid of it. One less cat and brother-in-law.
