About a year ago a local lad died in a skid steer loader. A young man of about twenty was operating the skid steer loader on a slick muddy slope near a pond. It slipped sideways and slid into the pond. The glass door to the cab opens forward. But unless the boom is very high or very low, the boom interferes with opening the door.
The door is made of tempered glass and impossible to kick out. As the machine slid under the water, the air intake became submerged and killed the engine, making the hydraulics inoperable. So he could not lower the bucket to allow the door to open. And, of course, the trapped young man drowned in the cab.
It looks like getting the tractor out of the mud, might be a negligible concern to the operator in the OP. I hope he got out safely.
