I know. I don't have any love for WLP, but the Organization that has been our friend and much of its time our only voice is in peril.
I have few economic resources left now and not much prospect for any change to that fact, but I'm re-joining the NRA and sending in an additional donation.
Let's fugg that turd NY AG right up her fat azz! Before Wayne, the same group had some excuse for setting on their wallet. Leaders come and go just like presidents. Some bad some good some great. Good riddance to the NRA, their all a bunch of crooks. When Ollie got fired I canceled my NRA lifetime membership of more than 40 years. NRA and NCBA are managed in the same way and do not support me, screw em.

Lawsuits or not, I don't think the NRA can survive with Wayne at it's head.
I would not be buying any life memberships right now. In fact, I don't think I'd renew for more than a year at a time.

I was a long-time NRA member and bought into all the propaganda. I can remember when WLP came aboard. He was a fire-eater and champion of gun rights and represented a change from the old-guard who were appeasers and black gun haters. This is not about WLP per se. It's about the NRA's long history of being lukewarm if that, and actually supporting gun control. WLP is just another aspect of problems that have plagued the NRA since at least the late seventies.

I will renew and support the NRA when WLP is gone. He has stolen so much money from all of us it is staggering. ^ trips to the bahamas , europe, 17 million contract for payments for when he is gone etc. He has been a crook straight up and he is not going to get one more cent of mine! If he goes so far to drag the whole NRA down then my coin would not have made a difference anyway.

I’m happy to support the NRA, but NOT WLP’s extravagant lifestyle or excessive legal/advertising payments.
I don’t have an NRA problem, I’ve got a WAYNE problem, and I see no other way to get him out, other than to vote with my wallet. It’s time for him to go...

I hope they win cause I want Cuomo to lose - - BUT - - - I'll not give them any more than my regular annular dues. Let WLP use some of the millions that he's taken/squandered from us to defend himself and the NRA. Money that should have gone to defend our rights went to WLP to live high on the hog.
