You'd think they'd be smart enough to start and end at places where lots of traffic wouldn't be noticed - like warehouses, not homes. You should take a drive and show them the ropes. I bet they’d appreciate your innovation and experience.

I thought the tunnel coming up inside a fast food restaurant was interesting. How the hell do you navigate underground? The article above said the newly discovered tunnel was 25' deep, (No peeking up from that depth.)
I'd always assumed tunnels were for people moving, but this article made me realize that they're strictly for moving drugs.
Why only drugs? With a rail system, people can sit or probably lay down and roll through the tunnel. Think or watch "The Great Escape". BC there's a lot more money in drugs than ppl moving. If you were moving ppl, too many loose lips would be in the know.

Park a tanker full of gasoline over the hole, open the dump valves, wait a few minutes and then toss in a lit fusee. The other end of the tunnel won't be hard to find! Throw in a Road Flare....

I'm guessing they started at the KFC and connected from Mehico.

I think you missed this...
The tunnel intended for smuggling ran from a neighborhood in San Luis Río Colorado, Mexico, to San Luis, Arizona, where it stopped short of reaching the surface.

Didn't trump pay the mesican government to watch for this sort of thing?

The fact that they have to go to such extreme & expensive measures shows that the wall is doing it's job.

Or they could have hired these guys, none of whom were arrested - https://www.660citynews.com/2020/03/31/us-finds-major-cross-border-tunnel-used-to-smuggle-drugs/
