Girlfriend.
When I proposed marriage, I told her she was the best girlfriend that I had ever had. I was willing to marry her, but on the condition that she remained my girlfriend.
This got to be problematic when I took the job at the solder factory. Rosemary was the HR lady. By this time Girlfriend was 9 months pregnant with Lil Angus. As she was later to admit to my wife:
"I used to go get so mad at him. I knew he had a pregnant wife at home, and he was always talking about this girlfriend he had. Some days I just wanted to hit him."

"Cub" ... She was born in February. When they brought her home from the hospital, all bundled up, her brother thought she looked like a little "cubby bear". It stuck. Her Dad never called her by anything but "Cub" the entire time I knew him.
