My local gun store just got a bunch of them in. The tag on them says $475.00.

That's $100 more than I paid for mine a few months ago. Probably have more than 500 rounds through it so far without a glitch. Went the other direction on 1911's few weeks ago and picked up a Dan Wesson Vigil that's been getting some rounds through it. The Dan Wesson is nicer but I still like mt Tisas.

Yeah, I'm a fan of my Tisas, too. Great gun for the money, and scratches the GI 1911A1 itch for me.

I got mine for $300.00.

Seems like a lot to pay for a 1911.

The 1911, like the Single Action Army, is a piece of Americana. If you hate them, you must hate America. grin

Flave is a good guy, but he's a contrarian. Probably from drinking sour milk, straight from the carton.

The only thing muzzle energy ever killed was time that could have spent shooting meat and learning something about how bullets work.

Contrarian, I like that. I’m going to use it, with permission of course.

I am betting he has owned a few.
