The color ensemble and wheel package on this one is freaking sublime. Agree. One of the nicer ones I’ve seen. I’ve been interested in a Tundra lately. I could easily wait 2 years for the new ones to come out.

About the only thing I miss on my Chevy was the auto 4x4 setting.

Interesting article. Sounds like Toyota is going to make the Tundra more like the 150 and 1500. Is that a good thing, though? Aren't people going to be screaming that the 2021 model was the last of the 'good' Tundras?

A couple of my friends both leased tundras lately for super low lease payments. No money down and about $250 a month.
They like them but both complain about getting 12 mpg.
Your best place to find an answer is a Toyota forum.
Bb Do you Tundra owners find the mileage to be in the 12 mpg range? That 5.7 is a big engine. I note their web site says 13 to 14 city slightly better on the highway. Most reliable truck out there right now. My 07 F150 is starting to bite back a little and debating whats next. Good luck and shoot straight y'all I bought one in April, I am getting 14-17 and as good as 19.

I do have a couple of options I'm glad the dealer ordered. One is the bed liner, the locking tailgate, the LED bed lights, and the safe in the console, this one has the bucket seat console with the 38 gallon tank. I'm only getting about 14 to high 15s. Suburban like driving condition though. I did fill up and drove over 50 miles but still went through 3 towns and got 15.8 to 16.2.
Burns is right though I would have preferred at least a limited slip to that brake dohickey posi.

A rear locker “locks” the axle together so the wheels both spin.. I have it on my Tacoma - the Taco 4x4 off road has a “e-locker” (electronic locker) on it so you can push a button and lock them together. It only works in 4 low, but man it works good. on the negative side it makes the rear end (Differenctial) weaker, and mine went bad and I had to replace it. There are also mechanical lockers, and e-lockers... Thanks!
Looking at the Tundra SR5 on Toyota's website.
Several TRD Off-Road (SR5 Grade) packages and a couple of TRD Sport packages.
Nowhere does it explain what the major difference is between the Off-Road and the Sport packages. They both seem to have the same upgraded shocks. Google search doesn't get me anywhere.
Anybody know for sure? When I go to the dealer, I want to already know the answer.
Tundra still is missing a rear locker in any package. Shocking weak link that should be a discount but then again new trucks are not exactly easy to find. Good Luck. John burns: I’m looking at trucks too, no past experience, what is a rear locker?

I agree they should put an e-locker in the Tundra but you guys do realize you can turn A-TRAC off if you don’t like it, right?

I heard somewhere Toyota is going to go to a 3.5 liter turbo, I really liked my 5.7.
