When you purchase preference point is there a limit on how long you can keep them before using them to apply ?

If you fail to purchase a point for 2 consecutive years you will lose your points. You can build points for as long as you like though.

Almost got bit by the two year thing. You can buy points every other year but don't forget or they go away.

I get an email telling me I,m in danger of losing them if I don’t purchase another one by November . Starting to add up, been getting them for both my sons too, ...they have no idea
