I'd rather play Duck Hunt on an old NES on a tube TV than do any damn thing with you.

I am glad we agree to agree. I will go along and enjoy my peaceful dove hunt and you can go eat dick, or whatever it is you enjoy.

Wow, what a solution.

Drought year again. Like when we bought the place 4 years ago. Don't want to pump more than the well will refresh.

I might could reach the dirt tank 1/4 mile away if I bought a few more hoses. Or maybe use a Homer Bucket and my pack frame and carry it over there. Friggen cows would likely drink it all before I got back with the next five gallons though.

But, at least you're thinking creatively! grin

I expect duck would rather suck off about half a dozen bbc's and then take it up the ass than do any sort of hunting or video game, but then again, maybe not. He might would rather go for a dozen.

I went to one of the TWRA fields years ago for a dove hunt, NEVER AGAIN! I got out of there after about a couple hours as it just kept getting worse with people crowding in. People shooting low shots, sky busting, etc. NO THANK YOU.

dove hunting used to be a big thing around here in the 70's. lots of slag piles from the mines and strip mined areas and lots and lots of corn fields. it was never a zoo like that looks like but it would be an interesting first day. after that you had the places to yourself. i'd shoot about a box of shells for every dove.

I had high hopes for this thread.

This is a 'shooter'. I expected 200 of them on that 40 acres but alas.....

Dove hunting has been like this for 40 years Texas, don't go on opening day, and then go during the week. I learned along time ago to stand up and tell every one where you are because everyone is in camo, you will get shot or peppered if you don't try to help yourself and wear eye protection. City people cant wait to go get drunk and shoot s~~t, dumber than a rock !!!

Getting pelted is part of dove shooting. Shot ripping through the corn or bushes behind you from people shooting at low birds is another story. No thanks.

Most of the public fields here have a 50 shell limit, which does seem to cut down on a lot of crap, but there's only wardens present to check on opening day from what I've seen. They also had a lottery on some of the better fields for opening day, but they were still a bit crowded.

"Getting pelted is part of dove shooting."

If you're getting pelted you need to find somewhere else to hunt.

LOL.

I have give or take 1000 acres of wheat but this sounds like good time.

Been pelleted more than once and have decent glasses that I don't mind wearing.
