So it appears a 17 yr old using a borrowed rifle stopped the riots in Kenosha WI. Much speculation has followed concerning citizens with rifles vs mobs. As most on this forum are quite a bit older and obviously much better citizens I figured we should show the exact rifle we would show up with when the mob was at the wall and being a good citizen required an armed response to save the country. Cartridge? Action? Optic? Sling? Light? Suppressor? Ammo? 5.56MM AR-15 3-18 VTAC Modified Wyo ARms Wyo Arms 69gr TMK If you are a prolific poster on this type of event I will most likely call you out if you dodge this thread. Just Sayin.

My deer rifle will suffice, and I intend to start working the bolt at 200 yds - just to see how a 165-gr. Sierra GameKing performs on a biped at that range.
700 BDL Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40 30.06 Springfield using Federal ammo with 165-gr SGK

Ruger 22/45 with a can, subsonic ammo and no optics. Aim for the gut.

All mine fell out of a canoe, when it swamped in a swift deep river bend. The dog and I were lucky to get out alive.
I took up gardening.

Ruger 22/45 with a can, subsonic ammo and no optics. Aim for the gut. Absolutely makes the most sense. In amongst the enemy, with nothing but abdomen shots with hollow points.

I suppose some prairie dog hunters will use their rigs to try fun shots (Adam's apple, eyeball) at extended ranges.

Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

Ruger 22/45 with a can, subsonic ammo and no optics. Aim for the gut. I do believe that’s the way it’s done in Israel.

It will work without the silencer. I don't think my Raven will accommodate one. (Just for Mr Brown, I think I had that one in my boot when the canoe swamped. Damn shame about my Hi Points though)
