Inletting black works great if you have some. Shoe polish works as well.

It'd be $11 or so for the 5-pack from Brownells delivered. How good a deal you looking for? The last time I bedded a rifle was 2006. All my bedding mixes are completely dry. It'll probably be that long before I do another one. Inletting black works great if you have some. Shoe polish works as well. Thanks for the advice. I wonder how Rit clothing dye would work. Could you bust open a pen? I tried a large Sharpie already. There wasn't enough ink inside it to darken it more than a darker shade of gray. Thanks, Dinny
