Inletting black works great if you have some. Shoe polish works as well.
Just FYI, good luck with your search

It'd be $11 or so for the 5-pack from Brownells delivered. How good a deal you looking for?

It'd be $11 or so for the 5-pack from Brownells delivered. How good a deal you looking for? The last time I bedded a rifle was 2006. All my bedding mixes are completely dry. It'll probably be that long before I do another one. Inletting black works great if you have some. Shoe polish works as well. Thanks for the advice. I wonder how Rit clothing dye would work. My local WalMart has some. Thanks, Dinny

Could you bust open a pen?

Could you bust open a pen? I tried a large Sharpie already. There wasn't enough ink inside it to darken it more than a darker shade of gray. Thanks, Dinny

Dinny, I'm not certain but you might try some black food color gel. I don't think I have any Brownells left or I'd send you some.

I have a couple, but the shipping would be close to the cost of the 5 pack above.
