1954 Standard, 30-06. It’s at https://pre64win.com/ right now getting a 1955 Featherweight barrel installed, refinished 1957 Featherweight stock, Featherweight bottom metal. I’ll pick it up this weekend. They checked that gun and told me it had hardly been used. Barrel was in near perfect condition.
Got my 340 Wby back from Patrick Holehan. Classic action, Krieger barrel, with his integral scope bases- these work perfectly and are a true return to zero so I have in essence 2 rifles with differing scope options. Has a second synthetic stock for Alaska.
Do you find the Talley set up gives you enough eye relief when scope is at higher power? Really uses up all the tube
LH 270 with a 3.5-10x40 VX3. I bought it off of another member here who has since passed away. He obviously did work on the trigger because it's sweet.

Sorry to revive this thread without pictures (yet, I'll have a few up in a week or so) but just curious.
Are the irons on your rifles in your stock configuration etc. visible enough to use when Weaver bases are installed on the rifle? Or must the bases be removed/left off if you want to use the irons?
Thanks fellas.
