I bought the Mesa. Mine had to go back to the factory for a bolt spring issue. They got a bad batch of springs from a supplier. They changed out my entire bolt with a new and updated one. The turn-around was super quick. Beyond my sight in shots, I have only fired a few groups. My handloads went about an inch, and with Factory ammo, I shot a .6 inch 3 shot group. While the advertised LOP is a very normal 13.5" the stock has a bit of an odd feel. It is very slender through the wrist, and it feels shorter that the 13.5 LOP. I'd encourage you to handle both before you make your decision.

Had both, tough call. Both were very accurate, easier to get the Mesa serviced and to find aftermarket parts(if you even need something like that).

Finnlight in 300WSM and the Mesa in 6.5CM. I liked the stock on the Mesa more.

I have also owned both of these and I agree with Oldelkhunter, I would choose the Mesa but for other reasons, I like the drilled and tapped reciever much better than the clamp-on Sako system which is heavy and bulky to boot 👎🏿....and did I say expensive?...good luck...Hb

FInnlight would be the lightweight version . It would come with a Fluted Barrel and aluminum magazine. The stock is trimmed compared to a regular 75/85 Link to FinnLight

My 300 WSM, purchased 2008, was the original Soft Touch stock which turned all gooey & went in the trash. The 308 is the Finnlight II Black Synthetic, purchased 2018, without the soft touch & thus far has been great & accurate as is.
