Trump was specifically briefed on Jan 28 how severe this was. On Jan 31 he banned air travel to China, because of concerns it would spread to the US.Which he was told on Jan 23 and 28.
On Feb 5 he told the reporter how bad this was. While playing it down to the general public for multiple weeks!! And encouraging people to come to his rallies.. and still do.
