Shrimp & avocado salad, of course.

Riff on prawn cocktail.

I did hear that he had soft hands.

Either that or access to a cookie cutter.

Laffin.... Pic was before the soy bath on my end.

I'd been out trying to kill a Mtn lion (glassed a group of 5 yesterday morning), get home, she had it made.

Formed by a measuring cup. Laffin....

I had about 6 fun sized Snicker's afterwards....

Spot and stalk on a lion?

Or dogs?

That sounds tough.

Was glassing for deer. Filming a big buck and half mile south was 2 adults and three half growners. Only had a handgun with me, they were in thick flats and disappeared into a wash hoping they'd bed for the day and be there that night. Went back to house, geared up, hiked back in there from the other side and made an hour long stand yesterday evening. No dice.

Done it before with a bow. Spot and stalk solo. Got to thirty, he growled at me then ran off. I had no shot as he was in brush.

That used be a Friday night staple around here when the kids were teens. Carbo loading for their weekends full of sports all over the dang place. Darn I miss those weekends now

One of my all time faves too.

Tacos, Burritos, a combo plate, whatever.

Give me some lime, good salsa, and some corn tortillas and I'm good to go.

Enjoy your hunt, be sure and let me know how it turns out.

You guys have Blackstone grills?

Saw one on an ad at the store up in the big town for what seemed like a decent price.

I sure wish Stagg still made their beanless chili. Remember the beef stew they used to make? It was good.

Elk steaks, seasoned and wrapped in bacon; diced potatoes onions, green peppers, cheese and seasoning in foil. All done on the grill.

Ate a couple left over steaks cold out of the fridge for breakfast.
