I need to write a book about all the dumb fuuucks I’ve worked with through the years.

I freeze water bottles to keep my lunch cool. I had a dumb fuuuck ask me how I got the ice through the little hole. He was serious as a heart attack.

In the ER, every time you thought you had seen the height of stupidity, someone would come along and trump it. Whether patients, staff, or (especially) administration. Our saying was "Common sense isn't".

I was wire wheeling a skinning rack I built a few days ago. The wheel caught in the braces, shot out of my hands, hit right behind nail on my right big toe. It made a big open wound, gonna take a while to heal. It was same toe I broke dropping a battery on.

I’m a Dumass for not having jeans and boots on, but it was 97 degrees. I’m paying the price for being stupid!!!

I worked as a civilian, for a military outfit.

They don't have it cornered, but they sure can dig up some doozies.

Our civilian end of the outfit hired some real winners too. (Myself excluded of course!)

I was in town today and sent off some more books. The last two were JB's and Gene. I am now officially caught up!

I went to the post office with a large envelope to mail so needed extra postage. The clerk asked if I wanted to send it off in the mail. I replied no I thought you might just want to look at it. Here's your sign. Government employee what can you say??

I don't know if this is the feeling across the country, but our postal clerks are not happy with all the amazon parcels going through the mail. Paper bills, letters to family, and other traditional communication is going away.

COVID has taught a lot of businesses - the post office included - that it is easier, faster, cheaper and generally more efficient to do things online. But it's like most changes, there is a lot of resistance initially.

So I said to the clerk, "If no one shopped at amazon, a lot of you guys would be out of a job." Which, naturally, got me the stinkeye.
