One of my Flattops with special order walnut grips. EdM, where'd you get these stocks?

.308 Win by Sterling Davenport. Typical thornbrush where I hunt on the west side of South Texas. It is hot and harsh, but beautiful in its own way. Same rifle.

Ok... Whitebird, you obviously have fantastic taste, but the bottom one here is THE ONE. What caliber? 6.5-06.

Somewhere some poor soul is sayin, “that’d sure look better with a Leuopold on it”. Not me. That’s a new classic meet old classic set up. Good choices.

Boy, there are some awesome firearms here. My latest acquisitions aren't show pieces like most here but they do have a certain amount of cool. Winchester M54 in 30 WCF. 1931 DOM. Group fired the day I brought it home using leftover ammo from my last 30-30 from 10-12 years ago: Walther P38 built in February of 1945, about a month before the US Army occupied the factory. The thing has all matching numbers and correct magazine. If the finish was in better shape, it would be very valuable instead of being just a shooter:

I just went through this whole thread again and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for bringing it back to the top! Thought I'd add a picture of my 1917 S&W while I was here... And my Winchester 1895 in 35 Win.
