Went to the NW Montana Arms Collector Assn (NWMACA) gun show with Dad today. It was actually CROWDED and they had GUNS for sale. But the room was big and full. I'd say about half masked, and I wouldn't say "social distancing" was complied with too much. A bit more "after you" than in times past. They were wrist-temp checking people.
But for the first in a long time, I actually found some things I needed and wanted, got to jawbone with happy friends, the old usual of gun shows. I think there was a lot of "cabin fever" to the high attendance, this is the first gun show since February, it's an annual big one, that's been going on for a million years. It is THE "club" gun show for the area, not a "promoter" show.
Prices on the component end were a bit on the high side, some gun prices were "crazy stupid," but there didn't seem to be any gouge artists. Just wanted you to know that it's still possible to have fun at a gun show.
