Picked these up out of the Classifieds. They were listed as Peters bullets. Having never seen Peters components before I assumed since a lot of people call ammunition "bullets" that this was factory Peters ammo. I PM'd to clarify and they in fact were bullets. Since I am not a person to back out of a transaction I sent the money anyway half out of curiosity.

I have never seen these before, anyone else?

I suspect those are the very bullets that gave the 303 Sav it's vaunted reputation on game larger than deer. Same principle as why most die hard 3030 users like the 170 over the 150gr weight. MB

Great find. Which got me thinking, was there ever any of the original 190 gr. Silvertip bullets available for reloading? Sure would like to get my hands on some. Thanks.

I bought ten boxes of 190 Silvertips, loaded ammo, from Roy a year or two back. Should last me a while. I do like throwing big chunks of lead at stuff too. Got some Remington 180’s for my 300 also.
