id like to find a1100 lw 20 with choke tubes or at least more open choke. like to have as short a barrel as i can find. i know this is like asking for gold, just thought id try.

Not to ask a stupid question ...but, is this comparable or the same as the old 1100 LT20's or a different shotgun completely. I only ask because I may know of an LT20 with a 26" Rem-Choke barrel, that has been ported also. The guy broke his arm,and put this together so he could still trap shoot while he healed.

They never made a ported barrel that I am aware of. Not in a 20. No kick much anyway

Not factory ported, the gentleman had it done to reduce the recoil further. I will check and see if he might want to part with it and let you know.

I have a barrel for a 20LW that has been shortened and a Hi-Viz bead installed. If you find a 20LW then this might do the trick for what you're looking for.

LT20 and LW are two different animals. BBLS will not switch.

LT is the later version, barrel has a long tang. LW were earlier. They were the first small frame 20's, and they have a short tang. There were some 20's made earlier on the 12 gauge frame, which are sought after these days because they are heavier.

I did ask the person if he would be interested in parting with it. I not only got a definite no for an answer, he was a bit agitated I asked. LOl Didn't mean to get your hopes up, but figured it was worth asking him. Seems he shot his first Turkey with it, and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

I have a 1100 20 gauge LW what would it be worth to you ?

You might also look for a Special Field. They made a 21 and 23 inch barrel gun in 20 and 12. I still have a new 20 with 21 inch barrel with screw in chokes. Grandkid gun.

id really like a special field but they are like hens teeth
