Blue bird day here in Podunk 45 low...76 high no smoke....... 91 YO MIL here (again) for Sunday dinner.......... No she didn't drive the 14 miles here...not with me in the car anyway.......  damm that woman can eat......must be my exceptional cookin' gonna go kill p/dogs in the morning........... maybe see a big dog & dump his azz too........

I got electricity back after 18 days. No more getting up at 0500 to buy gas for the generator. Window unit is off, central AC on 72 and the water heater is spinning up a shower.
Woohoo!

Short of a ride to the store to get my wife a newspaper I holed up in the cabin. Watched a couple of movies and read. Tough breathing outside with the smoke.

Good steady rain Wabigoon.
Other than the drought in June/early July, the weather has been perfect all spring and summer. I lost my fruit to the drought, but the Lord still provides.
My study in the book of Romans revealed something that I needed. Prayers are being answered. My torn rotator cuff feels better. The Lord is good.

Wabi - was 40* at daylight, got up to around 71* this afternoon. Don't think the wind ever got to 10 mph. "Bluebird day" I think they used to be called. Hope you and yours had a great one!

Beautiful day indeed. Family reunion today of my paternal grandparents family. My 1st cousins (and me)are now the old folks.
We have a noon potluck and a visit to catch up a little. 25 of us from 74 years to 7 months old.
