Realize retailers are limited to what they can advertise but where is a place you can get a better deal than that? And I'm sure its been talked about a lot but the 65 or the 80? Mostly Elk hunting. Thanks for any input

Call Doug at Cameraland! If he can’t help you out S&S archery are some good guys also.
Will you be buying an ATX? STX? Considering BTX ever? I’d go 65 personally but nothing wrong with the 80 either. If not backpacking they just came out with a 115mm also!😁

I’d recommend calling Doug first. You will be hard pressed to find better service and prices, speaking from experience.

I'm in the same boat. Will be buying soon. I think I might have to find out how well Doug deals.....

I sure could go for some $2.50/gal gas and a mean tweet!

I called and got price and its not bad but just found a used one today for a couple hundred less. He didn't have a screaming deal in my opinion but was a couple hundred less than list....

I've bought from Doug before so I called there first and it seems like Swarovski keeps a tight limit as to what the retailers can discount because the ones I called are all within a couple of dollars of one another.

I am actually considering an ATX 85 for hunting and a ATX 115 for target shooting. Someone please talk me out of it because that is a pile O money.....I just think the 85 would be GREAT for hunting and backpacking and a 115 for be the best thing since refillable lighters for seeing holes in paper at way far away distances. What say you experts? Is there enough difference in an 85 and a 115 to justify the $$ Or should I just buy a 95mm ATX to use for both and be done?

Man that's alot but I'm not the one to say since I don't own any. I'm going w the 65 just for packability but to each their own. At least you just have to buy 1 eyepiece w that setup

I agree but it'll be the last one I ever have to buy. Even if I go with just 1 and get the 95, it will probably be the last one.....
