An interesting flick. I think the score is better in the 2016 remastered blu-ray work. But wasn't bad in this one redone by Francis Ford Coppola.
Gance ( the director) even played in the flick as Saint Just. Several pretty powerful scenes.
Six hours long and it ends smack daub in the middle of the Italian campaign. My understating was it was suppose to have like 4 or 5 more 6 hour episodes.
Anyway I enjoyed it as I do most all the silent epics.
