I JUST ordered a box of the new 123 gr ABSOLUTE hammers for my 6.5 BEE. According Hammer it can do 300-400 fps better due to the slickness of the bullet. 123 at 3800 fps?? Heck yeah! see here https://hammerbullets.com/product/264-cal-123g-absolute-hammer/

Loaded up some 124 to test but my buds rifle needed some love so worked on it then switched to hunting Dove that day.

Lead off rifle will be 7 x 57 in old bubba-ed Mauser...... 150 gr Partitions, mild load
On deck will be back up of 300 Savage in 99 feather weight.......150 gr Hornady
On reserve is 270 Win in pre-64 Model 70...............130 gr Hornady
All 3 shoot well enough for my location in East Central Minn.
Always have at least one spare ready. more fun that way. Sometimes I switch during the season.
My hunting is mostly in brushy places. Shots longer than ~100 yards are rare.

Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.

Rocking the M7 SS in 308W and for the first time in over a decade I'll shoot factory ammo in it. I bought 2 boxes of Hornady American Whitetail 150 grain IL's and they shoot under 1" 5 shots at 100 yards. I set the scope and put it in the truck.
I will of course have the old faithful BAR Safari 30-06 with 180 grain handloads handy.
If little man shoots this year, he'll use a Ruger SR-556E with TSX handloads. He still has some proving himself on the range to do.
