John Henry was the academic star of the class, everyone had high hopes for him. He graduated as Valedictorian and went on to earn multiple degrees at a prestigious Ivy League school, everyone in town assumed he would achieve national recognition for his contributions to the nation. Then when he went on to get a doctorate at Cambridge in England, graduating summa cum laude, everyone in town thought he would take his place alongside Einstein and Hawking as one of the great thinkers of history and would change the world.

Then he disappeared.

Several years later, one of the townspeople went to Sea World In California and was wandering around when they saw John Henry dressed in coveralls feeding a baby dolphin.

"John Henry!", he cried in dismay, "we had such high hopes for you! You were going to change the world and your discoveries would be a boon to all mankind. Yet here you are dressed in common coveralls feeding a baby dolphin."

John Henry looked back at him and said, "what do you mean? How can you rebuke me like that?"

"I'm serving a youthful porpoise..."

Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery.
Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
