I don't see any reason she can't be replaced immediately. You think the commies stonewalled before with the last two? You ain't seen nothing yet. I don't see any reason she can't be replaced immediately. Me either. Worst case scenario, Trump loses the election (disastrous, of course). He's still president from today till, what, January something? That's like four months. He should nominate someone tomorrow, and let the Senate vote on it. The Republicans control the Senate process, and can set whatever time limit it deems appropriate. One month should be a more than sufficient time to deliberate. It may be the last chance they have to do something meaningful while they are in the majority.

Having said that, I again hope, and Pray for a speedy conservitive judge in her place. Good thoughts, Richard. I was totally opposed to her leanings, but life and death are beyond that. (It will be interesting to see if the 'fire's oft-trumpeted stance against speaking ill of the dead is going to hold true.)
