This hurts President Trump more than the Democrats.
This was perfectly timed , they thawed her out with less than 50 days to the election.

Personally, I wish she'd of hung on until after election. No way to fill the slot before then, and her checking out may motivate the voting dems who were hoping she'd somehow hang on until a demorat was in office. That was my first reaction....I don't see it helping in any way. Augh. It will definitely energize the Left in the Senate and will create problems for some Reps up for re-election. I see Collins losing for sure now.

I told a friend of mine or may have said in a post here many months ago when Justice Ginsburg was hospitalized that if Ginsburg "Died" before the Nov. 3 election could create another 2% in Democratic voter turnout.....or likely now more fraudulent mail in votes.
The evangelical's and gun owners now must turn out in mass on Nov. 3.

Cruz needs to take one for the team. Actually, if you want to ram through a candidate, the time frame involved makes him the best choice. The Dems can't claim he isn't vetted. Cruz already said he would not accept the nomination. That's because he had to say that. He can't say yes! Pick me! Seriously, with that kind of question you can't trust any answer you get. The real answer happens after the offer is actually made.

Trump & McConnell don’t have a choice, they have to push one through.
Amy Barrett is the obvious choice, mainly because she’s a woman & that would take away a lot of the dems thunder.
Trump has to do it though, I’d say his re-election hinges on it. That means many in the GOP will be fighting him on it. She'd likely be a good choice, at least regarding the Second Amendment. The Dems can't credibly accuse her of raping some guy at a party when she was in college.

I disagree. If time is of the essence, the vetting process must be accelerated at all cost. If you go with someone like Ted Cruz, the vetting is already done. At that point, all they have left is "we don't like him...". Oh well, blow me Dems.
I’d think Barrett was already heavily vetted because she was considered for Kavanaugh’s seat. She’s practically perfect, female, adopted two kids from Haiti, heck, you could nominate her for sainthood. Cruz is polarizing to say the least and most importantly he’s said he doesn’t want it.

Well good men, I can not well make any claim to being a Christian and wish her any ill even dead. Almighty God will be the Judge of her in the afterlife.
Having said that, I again hope, and Pray for a speedy conservative judge in her place. I'm in this camp as well, friend Richard. I do not and will not wish her dead. But I do hope she’s replaced pronto!!

The Dems and the media will use her as a battle cry and she'll be better for the ticket than Biden ever could. "We have to win in her memory" kind of crap. If you guys don’t think this is going to charge up the Republicans are crazy. With Ginsberg gone Trump has the ability to put another judge on the Supreme Court and protect our way of life. Trump will make this very apparent.
