A friend wants to buy my Colt Govt Model Stainless Steel Mark IV Series 80 in .45acp. Stock/no modifications, used condition, minor handling marks, but does have a shallow idiot mark (hey, it was my first 1911). I think its 1984 production, bought it new in 1986. Also have the original box. So... opinions on a fair friends/family price?

Maybe a grand with the box . condition condition condition Yeah based upon post-lockdown/riot prices I’d say this is closer to correct than other estimates. I wouldn’t sell it personally.
