Anyone has any experience with the Wraith digital night scopes?
All I have seen are excellent reviews on the 4-32x56mm ones, however a smaller version in 2-16 was recently released, and it may be better suit for where I would be able to find hogs (piney woods) vs open crop land. Is the 2-16 version the same quality/specs just a lower magnification level?
Yes they are the same other than magnification and objective size. I do not have a new one but do have a 4x they are great scopes. A buddy just got a 2x a week or two ago. He has not hunted with it yet but has had it out getting used to it and sighting in, he loves it.
The only difference between the Wraith 4-32 and the new 2-16 is just the magnification. They both have a 1080 resolution, all the same features. The 2-16 just has a better field of view because of its lower base magnification

I love mine. Have two of them actually... But both are the original model.
Can't wait for the weather to cool off enough to start hunting again.
I've taken note of your Wraith videos and it seems like pairing the scope with a good illuminator is certainly a lot of kit for the money. Do you also use another device for scanning/viewing without having to use the rifle? My pigs are usually hunted from box stands and are coming to bait locations on shooting lanes, unlike some folks that cruise around open fields and farms to find pigs.

Doug do you guys carry an external battery for extended powering of the Wraith?

I don't have another scanning device, as of now.
Like you, I hunt down a particular baited area, or out in open, shredded fields in some cases. Have not been hindered by just using the Wraith for spotting them coming in.
I'd love to have a cheap thermal for scanning though.

I have not, however, I will now. Placed an order 5 minutes ago

Thank you, Sir!
After buying lots of those expensive Lithium Ion AA's last year, a rechargeable battery pack will be welcome.
Could you please let me know when you get the items in stock?
