Yes, in 1981, we had a 2 door 1970 Impala custom. Concave back window. Vented trunk lid, as per Corvair. 400 SBC, and a turbo 400. Chrome wheels and baby moons.

A 2-1/2" x 9" Norton Surgical Sharpening stone that was my Dads. Lost due to a storage locker break in. What they call a surgical stone for sale today is like a 60 grit grinding wheel compared to that Norton. It was more of a polishing stone.

65' Chevelle Malibu SS..all original 30k miles. Sold in 96' for 8K....hurts typing this. Oh, man, you are sorry. Shortly after marrying i went to a gun show and James Wayne from the Victoria gun emporium was there with a Dale Goens 338 Win Mag Pre 64 M 70 action with quarter rib, skeleton butt and cap, fleur delish checkering on a slim, trim, 48xxx exhibition piece of the most beautiful black/blond swirl and streak marblecake GOD ever dreamed up. $1500 but we needed a freakin house. I almost wish i knew how much that would bring now.

When I was 17 (1980) I had the chance to buy a GTX with the 426 HEMI in it. An original factory car with matching numbers and not one that had been pieced together. My father refused to cosign for it because he knew what power a HEMI had since he had been a professional drag racer in the early 70s and I couldn't buy it on my own signature since I was under 18. Asking price was $1500. Still think about that car.

1972 Triumph TR6. When British Leyland went under I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get parts, so I traded it in on a first year Honda Accord. Looking back I should have parked it in the shed and used it as a toy.
