Congratulations on a nice bull. I only saw one group of elk on my archery deer hunt in the Wasatch west unit. Conditions were tough with the warm weather.

Congrats!! About 20yrs ago I was doing some survey work in September around Strawberry. I'd periodically fire up the chainsaw just to get elk bugling! Very neat country. Hope you had a shake on the way home.
Ralphie didn't bring the horses down for the packout?

Congratulations. Was in the Wasatch mountains last week. Sight seeing from Park City. Was wondering if there were any elk there. Saw so many mule deer though.

Ralphie didn't bring the horses down for the packout? Ralphie (unfortunately for me) had his own hunt to attend to. That stinks! Hopefully he's getting a big, strong pony ready for when I draw my sheep tag... I was north of you a bit last week, just south of Bear Lake chasing pronghorns. Weather sure cooperated.

Congratulations on a great bull and a great story too. JB might want to be watching over his shoulder for an aspiring writer!

I killed my best bull in Utah with 180 grain Power Point. Your story brings back a great memory. Thanks
